About

My name is Egidio Romano and I’m also known as "EgiX", which is the nickname I chose when I was fifteen. I got a BS in Computer Science at the University of Catania, Italy. I am passionate about computer security, and addicted to web application security.

After gaining solid experience in the IT security industry, I decided to bet on myself and go solo. So, I currently work as a freelance IT security consultant, mainly focusing on web application security code review, penetration testing, and 0-day vulnerability research. Over the years, I’ve published 160+ CVEs, starting back in 2007, and I’m always looking to push the limits a bit further. I’m open to pretty much any kind of hacking project, especially the unusual or challenging ones. If you think I might be a good fit for your security needs, feel free to reach out at n0b0d13s@gmail.com.

This is my personal website, where you’ll find details about the vulnerabilities I’ve discovered over the years, along with my future research publications. There’s also a blog, but don’t expect me to be a prolific blogger, I only post when I have something really interesting to write about.
